Hvad Avril har at sige: "This is my look pre-performance at the Spike Lee film premiere. Yeah, this look is just me in a pair of Dickies, which, a classic bottom for me which I love. And my Abbey Dawn hoodie. And it has ears and I love wearing hoods so I like to design hoodies that are fun. Like ears or devil horns, or right now I’m designing some hoods that have like bows and really really big hoods. So this is a very comfortable, casual look for me."

Hvad Avril har at sige: "This is the first time I ever wore a dress pretty much in my career. Um, it was on my 2nd album at the World Music Awards. There were skulls on it and I felt much better about that. The boots, I was kinda like going through like a goth phase where I really liked brands like Trip and I was really into creepers at the time. That was my way of saying, 'Okay, yeah, I’ll wear some boots with the dress if it has some skulls, wearing creepers, then maybe I can pull it off.'"

Hvad Avril har at sige: "Basically, again I was wearing a dress for my fashion show and I wanted it to be really poofy and sparkly. Just had it made, but some studs on it around the waist and the tulle has some sparkles in it. Yeah, I went out on limb there and wore some iron-fist heels."

Hvad Avril har at sige: "The dress that I wore at the Brit Awards is vintage by Julien MacDonald. I kind of decided I would like to wear a dress because the Brit Awards are a really big award show. When I wear a dress, I typically like it to be black and I typically like to wear boots with it, but I decided to wear heels. The dress is funky and I was able to kinda at least feel somewhat rock n roll and edgy in it. It was a fun dress, kinda crazy. The skirt was kind of like spaghetti or kind of like Raggedy Ann hair. I guess I like this look because there’s sparkles in it. Sometimes when I wear a dress I like to have like either crazy messy hair and or black eye makeup or black nails to kinda balance it out for me so I don’t feel too girly."

Ahh, Avril Lavigne. Today's not only your birthday. It's a day to stop and think about the fact that you've achieved more in the past decade than most of us scrubs will do our whole lives! It seems like yesterday when you first hit the scene with "Complicated" jam-- you were just 17!!!! Now you're a grownup who's inspired the world to adore cute sk8ter bois and celebrate the unending cuteness of punk fashion. Plus, you've got that SEER-EE-US-LY hot boyfriend Brody Jenner. Life. IS. GOOD!

Now, on your 27th birthday, we wish you many more years of success and happiness. You deserve it! You work hard! Today, you should play hooky! You should take full advantage of your special moment and, embrace all those "birthday freebies" places offer on your special day. Go get some free toppings on a scoop of frozen yogurt, an on-the-house b-day coffee, or just get serenaded by the waitstaff at Applebee's. Sure, you're probably financially comfortable and don't mind paying for things, but it's the small joys that make life worth living!

Anyway, no matter how you celebrate, just remember to make sure you keep getting asked for your ID. Even if people think you're old enough to be at a bar (they probably don't, since you still look 12!), just ask them ID you. That's the secret to everlasting youth.

Avril Lavigne koncert!!!!!!!!!

WOW! Jeg tog til London igår, for at hører Avril Lavigne give koncert. Hun var en halv time forsinket, og showet blev forkortet med en time, men anyway Avril er bare fucking god live! <3<3 Avril Lavigne the best damn thing! Avril Lavigne is known around the globe for her musical chops and unapologetic bravado. But the Canadian songstress in recent years has expanded her resume by tapping into fashion with her own clothing lifestyle brand, a fragrance line (Wild Rose) and a foundation to help youth with disabilities and illnesses.

In an interview with Billboard.com, the multifaceted entertainer dished about her career, touring and how music has inspired her to branch out beyond the recording studio.

The superstar's fourth studio album, "Goodbye Lullaby," was released in March and continues to resonate with fans with songs such as "What The Hell" and "Smile." The most current single, "Wish You Were Here," showcases Lavigne's more vulnerable side.

"It's a song written about missing someone and looking back and remembering all the good times and all those awesome moments," Lavigne says. The song is "stripped down. It's kind of raw, but also emotional. I cry in the video and that was something that I did on purpose, but it was something that was real."

Lavigne, who made a cameo on Rihanna's music video "Cheers" earlier this year, next takes her Black Star Tour to her native country for 16 dates throughout October.

"I'm having the most fun I've ever had," says Lavigne about the upcoming leg of her tour. "Every night you have a different crowd. Some are more rowdy than others and you want to get their energy up and get them to have a good time."

When she isn't touring she spends her time supporting The Avril Lavigne Foundation through a partnership with Easter Seals to fund programs for children with disabilities. Her time is also spent creating everything from T-shirts to accessories for her clothing line Abbey Dawn which, she says, is always tied to the music she writes about.

"As I got older I really started appreciating fashion more because it's really a big part of what I do with my music career," Lavigne says. "I'm pretty much designing for myself and it's a rock 'n roll brand. It's another way for me to create."
